Interactions

with other drugs

Antibacterials

  • Acts synergistically with a number of other antibacterial agents.
  • Cationic detergents (eg chlorhexidine Chlorhexidine) and chelating agents (eg EDTA Calcium disodium edetate (CaEDTA)) potentiate the effect of polymyxin B against Pseudomonas aeruginosa.
