Indications

  • Treatment of specific viral or bacterial infections:
  • Stegantox:
    • Endotoxemia (particularly caused by parvovirus, intestinal obstruction Intestine: obstruction, endotoxic shock Shock: septic and septic metritis Pyometra).
    • Polyclonal purified endotoxin specific IgG from horses immunized with:
      • Salmonella spp.
      • E. coli (several serotypes).
      • Klebsiella pneumoniae.
      • Pseudomonas aeroginosa.
      • Serratia marcescens.
      • Shigella flexneri.
  • hIVIG:
    • Management of immune-mediated hemolytic anemia Anemia: immune-mediated hemolytic unresponsive to conventional therapy.
    • Management of immune mediated thrombocytopenia Immune-mediated thrombocytopenia. Evidence has shown a faster recovery of platelet number compared to glucocorticoids alone in dogs with immune mediated thrombocytopenia.
