Epidemiology

Habitat

  • Obligatory parasites of mucous membranes.

Pathological effects

  • Has been isolated as mixed population or in pure culture from cats with respiratory disease (particularly rhinitis Rhinitis) and conjunctivitis Conjunctivitis and therefore its role in disease is still uncertain in the cat.

Other Host Effects

  • Has been isolated from respiratory tract of healthy cats.
