Introduction

  • A simple technique to perform in practice as part of a reptile fecal analysis.

Uses

Advantages

  • Easily performed in practice.
  • Requires limited equipment.

Disadvantages

  • Does not give a quantitative evaluation.
  • Where quantitative values are required the feces must be weighed and fecal flotation solution volume measured accordingly and the McMaster egg counting technique used.
