Injection site reactions

Guinea pigs are given injections for a range of reasons. Injection site reactions are not overly common, but they can occur, and are more common with some medications and injection sites than others. Most are not serious and will resolve without any medical treatment, but you should still speak to your vet if you notice any problems after your guinea pig has had an injection.
