Malassezia Owner Factsheet

If your dog has greasy, thickened skin or recurrent ear problems they may be suffering from Malassezia. This fungal/yeast infection of the skin can be mild or extensive and may indicate that there is an underlying health problem. If your dog has any skin lesions you should make an appointment to see your vet - it may be that the skin disease is an indication that something more serious going on.
