Potassium-depleting diuretics (furosemide, thiazides)
  • Hypokalemia may develop.
Insulin
  • Insulin requirements may increase in patients taking glucocorticoids.
Phenobaritone or phenytoin
  • Metabolism of corticosteroids may be enhanced.

with diagnostic tests

  • May increase urine glucose levels.
  • May decrease serum T3 and T4 values.
