Indications

  • Management of short-term pain in dogs.
  • It has little sedative effect, only a slight effect on the gastrointestinal (GI) tract and causes less respiratory depression than morphine.
  • Neuroleptanalgesia with acepromazine Acepromazine maleate for sedation and pre-anesthetic medication Sedation / sedative protocols.
    Ineffective in management of severe pain
