Indications

  • An ultra short-acting barbiturate anesthetic General anesthesia: overview.
  • It is approximately twice as potent as thiopentone, and relatively non-cumulative after repeated injection.
  • In 'sight hounds' it causes shorter recoveries compared with thiopentone.
