  • The depressant activity of butorphanol may be potentiated by barbiturate anesthetics, phenothiazines Acepromazine maleate and tranquilizers.
  • Concomitant use with metoclopramide Metoclopramide may lead to antagonism as each drug has opposing effects on gastrointestinal motility.
