Does various tasks such as swimming between boats with messages and pulling nets into the water. Also good at hunting rabbits. The cut of the coat is similar to that of the Poodle for the same reason - that is to reduce water resistance while swimming. Easily obedience trained and a good watchdog, this breed prefers hotter climates and will require regular exercise.
