Introduction

General information

  • Originated in Britain for the purpose of hunting otter, once thought to be a pest. This required the hounds frequently to enter water.
  • Dense, well-insulated coat which will need regular attention.
  • Cheerful disposition and enjoys human company, but can be stubborn, especially when around water.
