Introduction

General information

  • Originated in China for use in dog fighting as well as herding and hunting. Survived near-extinction in Hong Kong.
  • Can be aggressive, they do not take well to obedience training and are not good with other dogs.
  • Suitable for an urban environment and colder climate, their distinctive wrinkled coat requires frequent shampooing.
  • Can suffer from skin and eye problems.
