Introduction

  • The condition micropenis (also referred to as microphallus and small/short penis) is an uncommon condition seen in bulls where the penis is abnormally short in length and size.
  • Some young bulls may be fertile and capable of copulating, as long as the penis is able to protrude from the prepuce. However, as the affected bulls grow they are unable to copulate naturally due to the distension and depth of the abdomen making intromission impossible.
