Introduction

  • Fluid and electrolyte losses in neonatal enteritis can be significant and are often underestimated in the clinical case. As such, recognition of the clinical symptoma associated with these aberrations and knowledge of corrective and preventative measures is essential in the therapy of the ill neonate.
