After graduating in 2011 from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine - University of Milan, Dr. Funiciello became a member of the RCVS in 2012 and worked towards the Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice (CertAVP) completing equine modules provided by the University of Liverpool. After gaining the CertAVP in 2015, Dr. Funiciello went through small animal CertAVP modules and in 2017 passed the Synoptic Examination for the designated CertAVP in Veterinary Dermatology. Afterwards, she completed the Postgraduate Diploma level in Veterinary Professional Studies offered by the University of Liverpool, awarded in 2018. Dr. Funiciello is recognized as RCVS Advanced Practitioner in Veterinary Dermatology since 2017 and a Vetstream contributor since 2015. She works as private practitioner in cross-species dermatology in Italy and is a member of the Società Italiana di Dermatologia Veterinaria (SIDEV - Italian Society of Veterinary Dermatology) and of the European Society of Veterinary Dermatology (ESVD).
