Bio

Elizabeth Alderson is a freelance international livestock consultant living in UK. She has a degree in Dairy Science and MSc in Animal Nutrition with over 25 years’ experience working with bilateral and multilateral agricultural development aid projects in Africa, Asia, South America and Caribbean. She has also carried out several voluntary assignments for USAID and VSO. 

Her work is mainly focussed on smallholder livestock value chain development through capacity building and training to promote access to markets, incentives for growth, gender and social equity. She is also a technical writer and writes articles for CAB International Animal Health and Production Compendium.
